Gig Poster
This assignment was done in two parts. Part one was a mix of the demographics of the event, a mind map, and then thumbnails. Part two was the final poster. We were to create a gig poster for an event. The Gig or the event is not like a major concert, but a local-style event that could happen at a local venue like a lounge or park. The poster that would be created would need to be put together using material that you have in your home torn paper and fabric, plastic, paint, food, etc.
In the first part of the project, we needed to create the demographic for the event. This would cover what intents for the gig, the social economic, and the geographic.

This was part two and the final outcome. I used black fabric for the background. I also used gold glitter ribbon to have a certain feel with crystal stars that were placed in the background. The specs of the gold flakes happen due to the ribbon which I thought added a lovely touch. The look that I was shooting for was a stage set for a star.
