This project was assigned to us to restore a damaged photo to its original form. we have the same photo in black and white and color. Utilizing digital restoration skills and tonal-correction tools. Also, we learn different shortcuts that can be used to work efficiently.
Tools and Shortcuts that I used to restore both photos
1. Make the background transparent by inverting the image and pressing the delete key.
2. Transform and rotate a selection to reattach- W and V
3. Magic Wand Tool- W
4. Path Selection Tool- A
5. Polygonal Lasso Tool L
6. Clone Stamp Tool with various hardnesses- S
7. Selectively apply it to only one area- W
8. Spot Healing Brush Tool- J

Overall this project was a lot of fun. This was my first time having to restore images. I was able to learn photoshop utilizing new tools and shortcut to accomplish restoring the two damaged photos.
