DO YOUR JOB—GREAT OR SMALL was an inspirational saying for me. Lawrence Weiner, known for using language as art, created pieces such as TURNED AS THE WORLD TURN (2001) and ENOUGH (2021), among many others. His work, often displayed on walls, invited open interpretation from those who stopped to read it.
My creation, DO YOUR JOB, draws inspiration from Weiner’s approach. Using the bold, block-style Franklin Gothic font and simple lines on a textured wall, I aimed to blend language and art, leaving its meaning open to the viewer’s interpretation.

This design explores typography as art by creatively forming an image using the letters of the word it represents. I shaped a duck using the letters in "duck" and added color to capture its natural appearance, blending simplicity with artistic expression.
